Some traditions often have such special significance and importance within society that people continue to follow and preserve them even in the face of modern ways and thinking that can often seem to negate the need to do so.

WIDTH Varies, depending on each type and pattern.
BLADE Various steel types including patterned steel. Preference given to U8, U10, SHKH15 and OU31 steels.
HANDLE Horn, antler, silver and bone.
ENGRAVING Niello
TECHNIQUE Traditional Azerbaijan patterns.
PATTERNS Varies, depending on client's ethnic or cultural background and personal taste. The depth of engraving can be either medium or deep.
